Dr. Gurmani DVM
Chatsworth Veterinarian Dr. Gurmani was raised in a farming family, and he had to take care of a bunch of livestock, cats, dogs, and chickens on the farm. He finished his studies in Pakistan in 2001 and from 2003-2006 he went to Oklahoma State University to finish his remaining studies and get a qualification to practice in the USA. He started practicing in 2006 in Illinois and in 2008 moved to Chatsworth, CA to continue working in Mission Animal Care Center until 2018. After opening his own practice in 2018, he has now called Topanga Veterinary Clinic.

Oh my God, Dr G saved my friend dogs’s life!!! he was brought into an emergency hospital in Woodland Hills, not breathing very well with a very high Glucose level over 500. He was in there for four days $10,000 later they said come and get them. He’s perfect. We got in the car and he couldn’t breathe and he started heating up and we rushed him over to our regular vet. Who is Dr. Mohammed G at Topanga veterinary clinic and his glucose had gone well over 800 went into Shock and almost died. Dr G saved his life thank God !!!! You are the best and I will refer millions of people to you. These other people not confident and they’re gonna be in big trouble!!! I heard them telling these people $15,000 to do surgery Sure what was wrong with their dog and I said no take him to Dr. G Dr. G saved their dogs life an emergency surgery gave him a discount on top of it all for being in the Military and save their dog gypsies’s life. He’s amazing.!!!

Was visiting the area for family and I took my cat Tito of course. She was acting strange wasn’t sure why since she’s use to traveling. Topanga clinic was the closet to me at that time so i decided to take her there and it was the best decision ever. They were so kind and treated her quickly . Turns out she ate something she wasn’t supposed to but luckily they were able to treat her in time. Staff was super sweet and lumidee the reception was very kind and chit chatted with me while I waited for my kitty to be feeling better

Brought in our dog to the vet due to a sizable cut inside her paw. Our normal vet was closed for the evening, other vets were either too busy or had long wait times, but I called Topanga Vet and luckily they weren't busy. All in all our dog was in and out with stitches and meds in under 3 hrs.
The team at Topanga Veterinary Clinic were very helpful and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions about the procedure and at home care.
Our dog is now fully recovered and is back to her usual antics. Thank you Dr. G and the team

This clinic failed our cat, Seven, and I want others to know what we went through so it doesn’t happen to them.
Seven went in for a urinary blockage. They placed a catheter and said he’d need to stay a few days. Then, late at night around 11:30 PM, they suddenly called insisting I come pick him up or be charged an overnight fee. When we arrived, they gave us the wrong cat—a completely different animal. After realizing the mistake, they told us Seven actually needed to stay longer.
When we finally picked him up, he was extremely weak. We hoped he’d improve at home, but within a day he was declining again.
We brought him back, and the vet said Seven now needed PU surgery. He said he would insert a catheter that night to help him urinate and perform surgery either that night or the next morning. But that never happened. His condition worsened, and based on what we know now, it seems like they never placed the catheter as promised. He likely went hours without relief, and his health deteriorated quickly.
They called again late that night, but I missed the call because I was asleep with my daughter. When I followed up, they told me everything was fine and that he was improving. We called once more since no updates were being provided and were told again that he was eating, drinking, urinating, and not ready to be picked up yet. That was completely false.
Once we finally received his records, we saw the truth: severe kidney failure, dangerous electrolyte levels, and anemia. All of this had been hidden from us while they repeatedly claimed he was doing fine.
Eventually, I got a call from a staff member named Stephanie. I was hopeful it was to pick up Seven, but instead I received a cold voicemail saying he wasn’t doing well and that I needed to call back. When I did, she bluntly told me the vet was recommending euthanasia. I was in complete shock. I asked for time to process and speak with my husband, but instead I was bombarded with calls and felt incredibly pressured to put him down.
After I broke down emotionally on the phone, the vet suddenly changed his stance and said he’d try treatment for a few more days and even proceed with surgery. This sudden flip felt manipulative and confusing.
They did refund us what we paid and then some, but that doesn’t undo the emotional trauma or justify how dishonest and careless they were with our cat’s life. We were misled at every step and denied the chance to make informed decisions.
Unfortunately, we had to make the very difficult decision to euthanize our cat.

I’ve been touring universities recently, and I had an up coming trip to tour CSUN. And of course I had to bring my doggy with me. While taking a stroll across the campus, I noticed he was walking a little funny. Unfortunately, he had a splinter stuck in his paw. Since I am not a professional, I had no idea what to do in that situation. Fortunately, Topanga Veterinary Clinic was right around the corner. Dr. G and his team took us in immediately. There was little to no wait time, and they treated us like family. I will definitely be coming back if I am ever around the area and in need of veterinary care. One of the best experiences I have had with a vet clinic! My dog, Molly, is 13 years old now and seems to be more prone to injuries (she thinks she is still a puppy!). For my birthday this past weekend, I decided to take a trip down to celebrate with my parents. Of course, I brought Miss Molly along with me. She absolutely loves their backyard; they have a huge backyard with so much grass to run around on, bushes to climb in, and a pool to swim in. Unfortunately, since she is slowly getting older, her eyesight isn't as good anymore and she isn't as agile as she once was. While running around and playing ball with my parents, her nail somehow was ripped away. I, of course, was scared and anxious due to her paw bleeding profusely and it being a Sunday (not many vets are open on the weekend). Thankfully, I found Topanga Vet Clinic. I spoke to Alicia on the phone, and she was just the sweetest! She helped get Molly in right away. They were able to wrap her paw to help stop the bleeding and gave her a slight pain medicine to reduce her pain. They were absolutely amazing and accommodating! Would absolutely recommend!

While visiting family in southern california my puppy Gus swallowed a large towel/scrunchie and started choking. Luckily I found this clinic, and they were open even though it was almost midnight. They saved my baby and removed items from his throat that I didn't even know he had swallowed. Viktoriia helped so much to calm me down while they took Gus back to be operated on. Pricing wad very reasonable especially for this area, as my family has been charged much more for smaller operations by other vets nearby. The whole team was very supportive and helpful and I am so grateful to have found them during this ordeal.
